Kofax Ascent Capture Web Validation Server

Ascent Capture Web Validation Server (WVS) extends Ascent Capture's powerful indexing and validation capabilities to anyone equipped with an Internet connection and a standard Web browser. WVS can be added to the Ascent Capture workflow to automatically send documents to authorised remote workers for indexing and validation. Indexing operations can be performed by part-time workers at home or by subject matter experts in their offices or in different time zones. WVS works as though the documents presented to remote workers were being indexed in Ascent Capture's standard validation mode. The software is smart enough to spread the workload across all available operators and to intelligently send and cache documents so operators experience minimal delay. As each document is completed it is automatically sent back to the central site for processing and release when its batch is complete. Configurable control ensures that documents are never left in an idle state and that batches can only be closed when all their documents have been completed. Centralised adminstration is key to the elimination of software installation and configuartion issues. Users are created at the central site, they simply log in securely and begin work. Adminstrators have control over who is authorised and what work will be presented to them. The interface is simple with users requiring only a minimal introduction to the system.
